The $12.99 Aldi Find I Love is Finally Back in Stock

I spend a lot of time scrolling through my social media feeds and admiring beautifully organized pantries and closets. They look so neat and user-friendly, and usually this kind of scroll motivates me to get up and clean something.

When I went looking for food storage bins, the sticker shock hit fast. I wanted easy access to my staples, but not a $300 pantry side project.

The one thing I did find that fit the budget was at Aldi, of course. It was a set of plastic containers with air-tight lids. My only regret is not buying more of them while I could; hesitating in the Aldi Finds aisle is never a good idea! You have to buy things while they are in stock, because they could be gone the next day.

I’m thrilled Aldi is bringing back my most treasured Aldi Find: the Crofton Rotating Lock Container Set for $12.99.

This is a three-pack of rectangular plastic containers with air-tight lids. The lids have a strip of rubber running along the bottom edge and a rotating lock on top. Tiny padlock icons are printed on top of the lid in “locked” and “unlocked” positions at either end of the lock, so you always know which way is which.  

To close them and ensure they are air-tight, press the lid back onto the container and twist the lock from the “unlocked” to the “locked” setting.

Why I Love Aldi Crofton 3-Piece Rotating Lock Container Set

I’ve had my set for at least three years, and I love them. I love the air-tight lock. They’re completely stackable, which is helpful with my limited cabinet storage space. They’re a dupe for an OXO set that you can purchase at Walmart or Target, except that version is $32.99. That means you can get two sets at Aldi for the price of one OXO!

The OXO set also falls short, as it only comes in two sizes. The Aldi version is three separate sizes. I use my large one for flour, my medium one for sugar, and my small one for salt. Being able to see the size difference at a glance is helpful, so I don’t put salt in my morning coffee. Plus, since I live in an old house that has had mice a few times, these keep my precious groceries safe from pests.

I love having these pantry staples within reach while I cook. These Crofton containers genuinely make my time in the kitchen easier, since they’re so clean and user-friendly. 

They’re dishwasher-safe, but I usually hand-wash every few months when it’s time for a refill. Now that they’re back at Aldi, I’m excited to grab more for my rice and lentils!
