This summer has been so hot that I nearly forgot fall exists. I can’t imagine wearing my sweaters and boots, let alone having a hot apple cider or making a batch of soup.

I see Halloween decorations everywhere—and Starbucks is already teasing the release date of its Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yet it’s been 90°F for days in my Chicago neighborhood. It all seems like some cruel joke!

What Are Frosted Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts?

It’s the Pop-Tart pastry you know and love, with a pumpkin pie-flavored center and a sweet frosting topper. You'll take one bite and immediately be transported to your favorite fall memory. For me, this treat is reminiscent of college football Saturdays, Nora Ephron movie marathons, and Halloween parades. (Yes, those are a thing.)

I truly love Pop-Tarts, and I prefer their dessert-themed flavors over any fruit options. This is something that my best friend and I have debated for almost 20 years, and we still can't sway each other to our way of thinking.

I know that the S’Mores Pop-Tart is best, while my friend thinks it’s Frosted Cherry. Honestly, I like the S’Mores treats so much that I don’t even toast them before I eat them.

However, we both agree that the flavor we avoided as kids has become a frontrunner: Brown Cinnamon Sugar. And since the original launch in 2010, I have been a faithful fan of the Frosted Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts, too.
