We’re still in the dog days of summer, but Aldi has already started rolling out fall products—and there’s one my family can’t wait to see return. While some shoppers may be excited for pumpkin spice coffees and cookies, I’m looking forward to an item that Aldi debuted just last year: Berryhill Pumpkin Spice Flavored Maple Syrup.
It’s finally back on store shelves, along with two new flavors, Bourbon Barrel and Cinnamon Roll. I have so many ideas for using fall-flavored maple syrups.
Aldi Berryhill Fall-Flavored Maple Syrups
- Price: $5.49 for one 8-ounce bottle
- Why I Love It: These seasonal maple syrups are a great way to add fall flavor to pancakes, French toast, and more. I especially love the thick, luscious texture and authentic maple flavor.
Why I Love Aldi’s Berryhill Flavored Maple Syrups
What I loved about the Berryhill Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup is that it married two of my favorite fall things: maple syrup and pumpkin spice. An 8-ounce bottle costs $5.49 and goes a long way (and it's a great deal for real maple syrup).
Since it contains real maple and not a corn syrup-laden alternative, the syrup is thick and viscous. It has just the right touch of pumpkin spice, with ginger, cinnamon, and cloves adding a comforting warmth. The spices are well-balanced with the maple flavor and complement the syrup rather than overpowering it. They act like backup singers to the star, which is no doubt the maple.

When we tried it last year, the syrup tasted great on French toast and homemade pancakes. I also tried it with pumpkin pancakes, drizzling just a little bit on top, for an entirely fall combo. It was so, so good.
I also used the syrup to make a maple-pumpkin spice latte and added it to homemade whipped cream to top a pumpkin pie. The addition was a huge hit with my extended family.
This year, I’m likely going to buy another bottle of the pumpkin spice-flavored maple syrup, but my family is excited to try the two new flavors. My son’s eyes lit up when he saw the cinnamon roll option, which he wants to try on cinnamon roll pancakes. I’m excited to try it in a homemade latte.
The bourbon barrel, on the other hand, will make a perfect addition to a fall whiskey sour cocktail. My husband says he doesn’t care which flavors we try, just as long as I make a Dutch baby pancake to go with it.
With all these bottles of syrup in my pantry, fall mornings are about to taste even better. Whether it’s a Dutch baby, cinnamon roll pancakes, or my pumpkin spice latte, one thing’s sure: breakfast at our house is going to feel like a celebration of the season.
