Aldi Just Released a $9.99 Le Creuset Copycat and I Can't Wait to Get One

I'll never forget the most satisfying kitchen compliment of my life. I was hosting a girls' night for my neighbors—a casual evening with snacks and wine. For a few of them, it was their first time inside my home.

As part of the obligatory house tour, I walked them through the updates I'd made over the past year. When we reached the kitchen, one of my neighbors paused, pointed to my stovetop, and said, "Oh, I love your Le Creuset! What's that color called?"

I turned around, smiling, and thanked her. Then came the best part: I told her it wasn't Le Creuset. It was Crofton. Another neighbor leaned in and said, "Wait, isn't that... Aldi's brand?" Yes, yes, it is.

Why I Love Aldi’s Crofton Cookware

My beautiful teal Crofton Dutch oven was an Aldi Find from 2021. I use it at least once a week year-round. It's one of my favorite kitchen purchases ever, and it only cost me $34.99. I also bought a navy blue one for my parents, to take advantage of the deal.

Naturally, I'm thrilled that Aldi is back on its copycat cookware game for this round of Aldi Finds with new Crofton ceramic baking dishes available for $9.99.

The dishes come in two different colors (cream and blue) and three different shapes (oval, rectangle, and square). I've been waiting to pick up an oval baking dish, and finally, my patience has paid off.

As with any Aldi Find, the motto "here today, gone tomorrow" rings true. Once these dishes drop, they'll be scooped up fast. If you'd like to grab some for yourself, I suggest heading to the store sooner rather than later—especially if you have a strong preference for a specific color.

I can't think of a better time of year to pick up new baking dishes. They're perfect for all the cozy fall recipes ahead—from spiced pumpkin cake to creamy baked mac and cheese. They're practically begging to help you celebrate pumpkin spice season.

They're also ideal for warm, cheesy dips that go straight from oven to table when you're hosting. Spinach and artichoke or buffalo chicken, topped with plenty of bubbling cheese, will get golden under the broiler and look surprisingly cute on the table. Hey, one of your guests might even mistake it for Le Creuset!
